BUGATTI ATLANTIC 1937 - “OVERDRIVE”

For Antonio Negret’s film Overdrive, Ciné Cascade recreated the legendary 1937 Bugatti Atlantic with exacting accuracy. Working from the original plans, we developed a bespoke chassis fitted with a 280 hp V8 engine for a weight of just 700 kg. A true technical feat, completed in only four weeks thanks to the responsiveness of our mechanical and bodywork workshops. A performance that combines historical fidelity with raw power, fully serving the demands of cinematic direction.

RENAULT 4L - “NOTHING TO DECLARE”

Ciné Cascade designed the iconic “muscle-bound” 4L for Dany Boon’s Nothing to Declare. A true racing beast beneath a Renault body shell, it featured a 160 hp engine, hydraulic suspension, and a BX GTI chassis. Tested at 180 km/h on the Montlhéry circuit by Sport Auto magazine, this one-of-a-kind creation made it possible to deliver action scenes that were as spectacular as they were funny. A success born from the shared passion of Dany Boon and Jean-Claude Lagniez for sports cars.

FIAT 509 1933 - “GASTON LAGAFFE”

For Pierre-François Martin-Laval’s film adaptation of Gaston Lagaffe, Ciné Cascade brought the famous 1920s Fiat 509 Cabriolet to life. Drawing on Franquin’s original work, our workshops created a faithful replica, transforming this comic-book icon into a fully operational picture vehicle tailored to the demands of cinematic production.
