More than ten years after *The Intouchables*, Ciné Cascade reunites with Éric Toledano and Olivier Nakache for their new film, *Juste une illusion*, produced by Quad Productions and distributed by Gaumont.
The film is set in 1985, in a middle-class family in the Paris suburbs.
To bring this era to life on screen, Ciné Cascade provided the film’s star vehicle: a Renault 30, an elegant 1980s sedan, whose presence helps recreate the period. The directors took great care to ensure that every detail of the era was accurate. We worked closely with the production design department.
Jean-Claude Lagniez and the Ciné Cascade teams truly enjoyed working on this project. Uncovering vintage cars that are in working order, film-ready, and reliable on set is a task that requires time and a network—and it remains an aspect of the profession that Ciné Cascade masters particularly well.
