With *La Poupée*, Sophie Beaulieu has created a singular film, at the crossroads of romantic comedy, fantasy and the absurd. Starring Vincent Macaigne, Cécile de France and Zoé Marchal, and produced by Novoprod Cinéma, this beautiful film object also reminds us that Ciné Cascade has its place on shoots that do not fall within pure action cinema. Its fleet of loader travelling vehicles makes it possible to achieve suitable shots. Selected in Angoulême 2025 and then at Alpe d’Huez 2026, the film was noted for its offbeat tone, its humour and the quality of its trio of performers.
